"If anyone says, "I love God," yet hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen. And He has given us this command: Whoever loves God must also love his brother." (1 John 4:20-21, NIV Bible) After you've had a moment to contemplate that passage, ask this question of yourself: How does my love walk look today? Is there anyone that I need to forgive? Is there anyone from whom I need forgiveness? If so, how can I be reconciled to them since God has called for us to be ministers of reconciliation? How can I love on someone today, especially if they're my enemy? Since love is selfless instead of self-seeking, who can I serve today and how? |
